Creative Writing Workshop - April 11th, 7 PM til 8:30 PM

"But I'm Not a Writer" Poetry Workshop with Wanda John-Kehewin:

"My Peaceful Place Using the 5 Senses"

 

Celebrate Poetry Month by writing a poem of your own! In this workshop, learners will be able to think creatively through the five senses and complete a short poem using simile and metaphor.

Coming Spring 2023!

Graphic Novel Volume one of a three-part series called "Dreams" about identity as an Indigenous person who has never embraced that part of himself. It is a coming-of-age story about identity, forgiveness, and relationships.

2022

Coming December 2022!

YA (Young adult Novel) coming out December 2022 about being in care. It is the journey of an Indigenous teen who has to come to terms with her relationship with her mother, whom she blames for her and her four-year-old brother for being in care. It is a story about love for our grandmothers, mothers, and ourselves and figuring out how we fit into the world.
